A struggling painter discovers that great pain yields great art when a disgruntled ninja decides to teach him a hard lesson in following your dreams. Jack works in a movie theater with his girlfriend Sharon and buddy Nick. When he was younger, Jack was a promising artist. Like many starving artists, however, the once-promising painter ultimately decided to lay down his brush and seek out steady employment. This doesn’t sit well with Marcus. Marcus is training to be a ninja. He detests Jack for allowing his apathy to overshadow his ambition, and he’s determined to jar him out of the self-defeating cycle of self-pity. His method of doing so: extreme violence. Once Jack starts fighting for his life, maybe he’ll realize that his art is worth fighting for, too.

The film tracks his life from his childhood in Queens, through discovering mega-bands *NSYNC and The Backstreet Boys, and chronicles his later life, including his perpetration of one of the largest Ponzi schemes in American history.
This is the first time this story has ever been told from the perspective of the people involved, from the Boy Band members themselves, to Ponzi scheme investors to Lou’s childhood friends.
